About
Hollis Vane is a stand-up comedian, actor and writer who has spent more than fifteen years turning awkward family dinners, airport delays and group-chat arguments into sold-out theatre shows around the world.
Born in Melbourne, Hollis has recorded eight stand-up specials since 2009. The latest, Full Send, arrived in 2025 and takes on fitness trackers, neighbourhood barbecues and the strange etiquette of the office kitchen.
On screen, Hollis co-wrote and starred in the sitcom Flatmates and hosted the late-night series The Hollis Vane Project for three seasons, from 2018 to 2021. In 2022 he took home the Audience Choice prize at the Harbour City Laugh Festival.
These days he hosts the panel game Quick Draw Live, where guests bluff their way through impossible trivia, and he is filming a new comedy feature that arrives next spring.
